We will be enjoying Sam Sumner’s delicious BBQ this May. Afterwards, there will be a presentation by Fort Worth Sister Cities International. Many of you know how closely our Society has been working with Sister Cities, in particular to help create and maintain the sister city relationship with Nagaoka, Japan. In addition to having FWJS members attend their visits to Nagaoka and hosting dignitaries from Nagaoka, some of us open our homes to Nagaoka exchange students. The FWJS also provides one scholarship each year for a student member to participate in the exchange program. There’s hardly a better way to visit Japan than going with the Sister Cities group since you will be well treated by our host, Nagaoka.
