Cooking Club

Welcome to the FWJS Cooking Club!

Want a fun activity to explore Japanese cuisine and meet new people? Know how to cook your favorite Japanese dish and want to share it with others? Then the FWJS Cooking Club is right for you!

For those that want to casually eat, learn, chat, and sometimes get a little messy (we know who you are ), then visit one of our club sessions.

Our first two club meetings were taught by Chef Julia and Harumi Sharp, just to get the ball rolling. The goal of the club is to get people to be less intimidated by Asian food or cooking in general. We hope to encourage others to challenge themselves and instruct others on their favorite dishes. Each meeting will be instructed from a previous meetings attendee. We try to limit the meeting size to about 20 people. No professional background required. The FWJS Events Committee members will be on hand to help with the meetings.
